When we met the team from Concordia most of their processes were telephone and paper-based. Key information was scattered across the organisation - on standalone PCs or post-it notes, or in staff members’ heads. This made it a real challenge to co-ordinate 10,000+ seasonal workers on 200 farms effectively.
Datanauts worked with Concordia to web-enable core business processes and ensure all data was stored in a centrally. Once we had accurate and comprehensive cloud-based information we enabled Concordia’s network of farmers, overseas employment agents and workers to access the system – replacing emails and telephone calls with online self-service. This approach has dramatically cut the administration workload for UK staff and improved the level of service they can provide when more complex queries arise.
